Timeless Treasures Ink Box | Vol 2

I think this is a wonderful introductory ink box for those who do not have a lot of FWP inks in their collection already, it includes a good variety of ink types and colors to play with. Keep in mind that they do mention that "no two boxes are exactly alike" so you may get a different selection than I am showing :)

I do believe that the description of this box is a little bit misleading though, as it mentions that you might get inks that are limited edition, special collaborations, gold ticket exclusives or colors from the archives - unfortunately I did not receive any inks that really fell under those criteria. Even though they do mention every box is curated differently - meaning some may still get those exclusives - this left the box feeling a little flat for an avid collector of FWP inks. I think it would better serve them to change the description to reflect that is a great intro box, rather than marketing to collectors by teasing rare finds that we might not have, but then not including any.

I feel very comfortable recommending this lovely box for those who are interested in starting their collection of FWP inks - there is definitely some wonderful discoveries in here for a good value.

- As a Ferris Wheel Press Creative Ambassador, I was provided with this box to try out - this is not however a paid sponsored post and all opinions are my own :)

It's a great way to get different colors when you haven't decided yet.

Ferris Wheel Press this is another reason we love you 💛 Perfectly curated inks that stand the test of time.

I have mixed feelings. On the one hand, the box exceeds the value of the contents (if you buy on ferriswheelpress.com), but that's probably the only positive. On the other hand, I received what was pictured. No surprise; all the inks were from the regular collections, still available for sale. Certainly not for collectors, who have most of the regular colors, but also not for new users, as the color variety is too limited. It's a shame, because there was so much potential. They could have made fewer, but each box truly contains a gem.

This had no inks that were difficult to get. I only started buying FWP less than 6 months ago and I already had all of the 10ml and 4 of the other inks in the box... The marketing made it seem like there would be older inks or special collections...
